General Technical Expertise

Construction on Sint Maarten often has taken place in an uncontrolled manner with often obvious, but sometime not so obvious, serious negative long-term effects for buildings concerned:

- Construction without taking hurricane or earthquake conditions into account
- Improper foundations
- Construction with concrete containing salts or other materials that are subject

ICE provides the possiblities to have an existing building inspected on soundness of construction and potential problems.
